ABOUT US
ACTING FOR RHINOS was started in 2014 by Eden School students.
Jean van Elden had told a class they were never too small to make a difference.
She was challenged by a bright spark who wanted to know what kids could do to help the Rhinos. After much brainstorming the kids came up with the idea of using shows to raise money for the Rhino cause.
They committed to donating R1,00 of every performance ticket sold at the school to Project Rhino KZN. They then went further by challenging schools and theatre groups to do the same.
A logo was designed and the organization was launched.

Rhino Orphan Sanctuaries in KZN
Zapwing which provides aerial support to 26 game reserves and rhino security needs in Northern Kwazulu-Natal.

It’s exciting to note that rhino poaching numbers are down, let’s keep the momentum going in 2020.
